The Productive Procrastinator

March 13, 2018

Snow day “to do” list overflowed.

At 7 I did the crossword.

By 8 I was reading Facebook.

Lunch out with my sweet husband.

Nap on the couch at 1.

Browsed Barnes and Noble for books,

Finished reading Auggie and Me (love!),

Baked muffins, graded papers, dusted bedroom,

Comments written for slices of life,

And still no lesson plans done.

  2. SO much fun. Here in Colorado we are begging for snow and teachers are dying for a snow day.

I love the format of this. I will have to show my students. They are always looking for new ways to experiment with their writing. And sounds like you enjoyed your snow day!

  4. This sounds like the perfect day! I also find that I am most productive on everything else in my life when I’m procrastinating on the thing(s) I need to do most!

  5. Hahaha, I love the end line. Still no lesson plans done. Yeah, but you lived today! This slice is awesome. Perfect snow day for sure!

  6. Love all your 6 word stories! You definitely had a productive day 🙂 ~JudyK

  7. This is what a snow day should be – a small break in the hurry of teaching and lesson plans. Glad you enjoyed it!
